We’re Stefano and Ilaria – a couple in life, and a team of wedding photographers and videographers based in the heart of Umbria, Italy. While we call Umbria home and frequently work in the rolling hills of Tuscany, we happily travel all over Italy (and the world) to capture love stories. Our style is a blend of candid reportage and refined editorial artistry, delivering images and films that are as genuine in emotion as they are timeless in elegance. We’re fluent in both English and Italian, and we’re honored to work with couples from across the globe who are drawn to the beauty, intimacy, and soul of destination weddings.

Our Story
Photography has been Stefano’s passion since he was a teenager. Eight years ago, he began photographing weddings on weekends as a second shooter for local studios – all while juggling another weekday job. It didn’t take long for him to realize that telling love stories through a lens was his true calling. So, in early 2020 – just one month before COVID hit (great timing!) – he took a leap of faith and launched our own wedding studio. Despite the difficult start, Stefano never gave up on the dream. What began in uncertain times quickly flourished: we’ve captured over 100 weddings in just a few years.
From day one, Ilaria was by Stefano’s side on this adventure. What started as quiet support soon grew into shared vision. As she immersed herself in our work, her passion for visual storytelling blossomed alongside Stefano’s, and she naturally found her voice behind the lens. With a remarkable eye for detail, she brings a delicate balance and a deep emotional sensitivity to everything we create.
Together, we photograph and film destination weddings across Italy and beyond. Our journey has evolved into a true partnership, where Stefano typically leads photography and Ilaria leads videography, but we both bring experience, passion, and versatility to every wedding. We are what some call hybrids: photographers who understand filmmaking, and filmmakers who understand photography. That balance lets us adapt in the moment, help one another, and create truly cohesive visual narratives that flow beautifully from still to motion.

During the heartfelt, blink-and-you-miss-them moments, we become nearly invisible, quietly documenting real emotions as they unfold. Our past couples often tell us they hardly even noticed us during the ceremony or intimate moments, yet the photos and videos beautifully reflect every genuine emotion.

During portraits and creative sessions, we’ll gently direct and bring out your best, making sure you feel comfortable and look stunning. With a background in editorial-style photography, we pay careful attention to the smallest details – from the way your veil catches the light to the romantic backdrop of your venue – to create magnificent, magazine-worthy shots and cinematic, visually rich films. Our job is to ensure you have incredible photos and videos without pulling you away from the celebration. We approach each wedding with sensitivity, adapting to your energy and needs. If that means sneaking in a few sunset photos while giving you a breather together, we’ll do it. If it means blending into the dance floor crowd to catch grandma showing off her moves, we’re on it! Getting to Know Us Personally
Wondering what we’re like behind the scenes? When we’re not busy photographing weddings, you’ll probably find us exploring new places or planning our next adventure. We’re avid travelers – especially if it involves a good old-fashioned road trip. In fact, some of our happiest memories are from when we’ve combined our love of travel with our work, photographing destination weddings in breathtaking places like Hawaii and California, as well as every corner of beautiful Italy from north to south. Travel isn’t just something we do; it’s part of who we are. We believe experiencing different cultures and landscapes adds a rich perspective to our creativity (and it definitely keeps our inspiration flowing!).
We’re also big foodies at heart. We firmly believe no trip (or day, really) is complete without indulging in the local cuisine. Yes, we love pizza – call it a cliché, but there’s nothing like a wood-fired Margherita in Naples or a cozy pizzeria discovery in a little Tuscan town. Good food, good wine, and good company are our recipe for happiness.
At home in Umbria, our life is pretty simple and sweet. Stefano is rarely seen without a camera in hand, but on the occasional evening off, he might be strumming his guitar – or at least trying to nail that new song riff. Meanwhile, Ilaria is the resident bookworm of the duo. She’s happiest curled up under a soft blanket with a great novel, especially if it’s in front of a crackling fireplace on a chilly evening. We’re different in some ways – one of us making music, the other lost in literature – but we come together over our shared love for storytelling, whether it’s through imagery, songs, or stories on a page.
Ultimately, we are two people in love doing what we love. We know that choosing a wedding photographer means trusting someone with your irreplaceable memories.
